The day of the Russian language
June 6 is the birthday of the great Russian poet, whose lines are quoted today, and whose works do not lose their relevance all over the world. Of course, we are talking about Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. As part of the program for the support and development of multilingualism and cultural diversity, this day is officially recognized as the Day of the Russian Language at the UN.

The main goal of the program is to maintain equality in all six UN languages. On this day, special attention is paid to the history and culture of the language. Each semester, approximately 160 employees enroll in Russian language courses. They consider it the richest and most difficult language to learn, this is an indisputable fact.

On this holiday, representatives of the language have a chance to invite famous native speakers, poets and writers, choose a unique approach and develop their own program of events for the day. For example, the performance of musical and literary works, competitions, exhibitions, lectures, pop performances and performances of cultural figures, holding days of national cuisine and performances by folklore groups, film demonstrations and express language lessons for those wishing to learn another of the official languages of the UN.

We are proud of our history. Language is a reflection of the culture of society, in our case, it is a reflection of the immense wealth of the soul of the Russian people.
